Shawn has advised lawyers, shareholders and corporations since 1998. His assignments have involved measuring income losses resulting from business interruption and property damage claims, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of non-compete agreements, class actions, and personal injury claims involving individuals or business owners. Shawn is often called upon to critique and produce alternate calculations of damages following claim submissions prepared by others. He has been qualified as an expert witness in the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta. Shawn is also an author and speaker on insurance and damage quantification for law firms and other professional organizations.
